Low pressure moved across Missouri on Wednesday, dragging a cold front into the region by evening.  Strong thunderstorms developed in the very warm, moist, and unstable atmosphere ahead of the front.  One of the storms in southeast Missouri developed rotation, which resulted in the formation of an EF-1 tornado that tracked across eastern portions of Scott County, Missouri into Alexander County, Illinois.  Following are details on the damage survey conducted Thursday.
