The potential for heavy snow at higher elevations in the western U.S. will continue for many spots through the weekend. Here are some additional photos of snow rollers found near Medical Lake in eastern Washington on December 30th 2008 courtesy of Ron Trees. While these snow rollers are not as large and well defined as the Camas Prairie snow rollers, it is easier to visualize how each one initially develops with the right combination of wind and snow conditions.
