A Pacific storm and atmospheric river will impact the Pacific Northwest states and northern Rockies this weekend, bringing locally heavy low elevations rain and heavy high elevation snow in the mountains. The Entiat River in the Cascades north of Wenatchee accumulated significant amounts of ice during the cold weather. As the weather warmed, the ice broke up, floated downstream, and becamed jammed.
