Freezing conditions resulted in extensive crop damage in the Wenatchee area through the 22nd. $90 million in damages were reported to the cherry crop, and a further $15 million was reported to the pear crop. Ephrata records a temperature of 21 degrees, the coldest April temperature recorded at the airport.
