Bethany PerryBethany Perry serves as the Coordinator for the NOAA Central Region Collaboration Team, a position she has held since its creation in 2009.

Bethany joined NOAA as a Presidential Management Fellow in 2005. As the Coordinator, Bethany works to address regional challenges, better integrate national and regional insights to inform NOAA activities, and advance NOAA’s broad mission and regional capabilities. She manages multiple projects and activities in several areas working closely with an impressive Team of NOAA experts and leaders, serving the needs and opportunities unique to the NOAA Central Region. Project areas include advancing community partnerships and collaborating on issues relevant to the region such as drought, extreme weather, hydrology, water quality and the increasing need for regional climate services. In addition, the Team strives to promote opportunities to share information within NOAA to increase awareness of the depth and breadth of NOAA’s mission, highlight collaborations with partners, and promote innovative research and operational initiatives.

Bethany is a certified Project Management Professional and earned a B.A. in Political Science and Masters in Public Administration from Missouri State University.
