A very humid summertime pattern is in place with scattered showers and thunderstorms, some of which may become severe. Local flash flooding and damaging wind gusts are the main concerns.
Medium to high chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue across Middle Tennessee through Tuesday night, then we will get a break from rain chances late week. Some storms could produce locally heavy rainfall, which could lead to localized flooding. The threat for severe weather is low but some storms could produce strong wind gusts. Hot and humid conditions will continue through Tuesday, then cooler and drier air will move in for a few days.
