Middle Tennessee Weather History For February 14th...
On February 14, 1948...The Buffalo River at Lobelville reaches its
highest stage ever recorded -- 26.0 feet, which is 16.0 feet above
flood stage. The Duck River at Columbia reaches its highest stage
ever recorded -- 51.8 feet, which is 19.8 feet above flood stage. The
Duck River at Hurricane Mills reaches its highest stage ever recorded
-- 30.7 feet, which is 6.7 feet above flood stage.
