.Update... Corrected time wording for Fentress County.

.Overview... Thunderstorms moved across the Cumberland Plateau
during the afternoon and early evening of August 1st, 2026. A
couple of these storms produced weak, brief tornadoes. Details of
these tornado paths are found below.

Survey Summary:
At approximately 6:21 PM, a tornado touched down near Grapevine
Road in Bledsoe County and moved northeast into Cumberland
County. The tornado uprooted trees, removed shingles, and damaged
multiple outdoor buildings and a barn. It continued to track to
the northeast crossing a wooded area before lifting near Jerry
Edmonds Road.

Survey Summary:
At approximately 6:32 PM, a brief tornado touched down near
Heinss Road in Fentress County. The tornado snapped treetops and
uprooted a few trees. It continued to track to the northeast
before lifting near Baseline Road.
