January 8-9 & January 12 Rain, Snow & High Wind Events

Two large and intense low pressure systems moved across the central and eastern U.S. the second week of January 2024, first from January 8th into January 9th, then next on January 12th. These two systems brought widespread beneficial rainfall to Middle Tennessee, some light snow to the Upper Cumberland, and strong winds due to the tight surface pressure gradient across the region. |
