Critical Fire Weather in Southern New England; Heavy Rain and Mountain Snow for the Northwestern U.S.

Red Flag Warnings have been remain in effect today for southern New England due to more critical fire weather from gusty winds and dry fuels. Rain returns today through Friday. The North Bay Coast Ranges will see up to 0.50" to 1", Santa Cruz Mountains, North Bay Valleys, and Santa Lucia Range could see up to 0.25", and other locations across the region seeing less than 0.20".
Coastal flooding expected at prone low-lying coastal locations across the San Francisco Bay shoreline during peak high tide cycles.
