Last Map Update: Fri, Apr 25, 2025 at 7:36:09 pm PDT

A major systems upgrade will occur from April 28th to the 30th, which may impact some of our services. Impacts include: NOAA Weather Radio stations off the air - have multiple ways to receive warnings! Possible interruptions to climate summaries and regional temperature and precipitation tables. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Showers and a few storms will be capable of producing pea sized hail. Hail may accumulate and result in slick driving conditions. The stronger shower and thunderstorm potential is greatest across the Central Coast and adjacent waters. Stay weather aware. Remember: when thunder roars go indoors!
There is an increased risk for rain and isolated thunderstorms late Friday and into Saturday. This risk includes the Bay Area, but the greater rain/storm risk is across the Central Coast. Impacts include isolated ponding of water on roadways and potential for accumulating hail that may result in slick travel conditions.
