Excessive Rainfall in the Interior Mid-Atlantic; Critical Fire Weather Conditions in the Northern Great Plains

A Moderate Risk (level 3 of 4) of Excessive Rainfall is forecast for portions of central Virginia. Heavy rainfall may lead to areas of flash flooding. Dry fuels and windy conditions will support elevated to critical fire weather conditions from the Intermountain West to portions of the northern Great Plains. A Heat Advisory has been issued for the entire Bay Area and Central Coast from 11 AM Monday - 11 PM Wednesday. Interior areas will reach the low to mid 100s while coastal areas will be in the 80s to mid 90s.
