The Beach Hazards Statement for Pacific Coast beaches has been extended to now go through Wednesday afternoon. Long-period S-SW swell will continue to generate hazardous conditions at the beach, including sneaker waves and strong rip currents. Stay back from the water’s edge, stay off of jetties and piers, and NEVER turn your back on the ocean.
Here's a look at the temperature forecast for the week ahead. Temperatures will warm through midweek, climbing around 10 degrees higher than today across interior areas. Coastal locations will stay a bit cooler thanks to marine influences. The warmest day will be Wednesday with temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to lower 70s across most coastal locations to the lower 90s across interior locations. This will result in minor to moderate heat risk threats on Wednesday.
