Heavy Rain, Mountain Snow, and High Winds Continue in the Northwest U.S. Through Tuesday

An atmospheric river will wane through Tuesday with areas of heavy rain, high elevation mountain snow, and strong winds over the northwestern U.S. tapering off. Across the Pacific Northwest into the Northern Rockies, river and small stream flooding impacts are expected through today in response to the persistent rainfall, snowmelt, and potential ice jams.
