Severe thunderstorms look likely Friday afternoon. Storms will develop and grow very quickly. Primary threats will be very strong winds (up to 80mph) and hail (up to 1"). Keep an eye on the radar if you're outside Friday afternoon!
Dry conditions, generally speaking, continue through Friday morning.
However a front will move in from the northwest on Friday, sparking
off widespread showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and
evening hours. Some severe storms, with damaging winds, are
expected. Front shifts south of the area for Saturday, allowing for
mostly dry conditions. Sunday into the first half of next week look
quite active and rainy though.
