Heavy rainfall and flash flooding are both likely through Friday Morning. Damaging wind gusts are becoming likely for late tonight and Friday. Down trees and power lines causing power outages are expected. TURN AROUND DONT DROWN.

Damaging High winds from hurricane Helene is expected late tonight and Friday. Winds will bring down trees and power lines causing power outages.

Heavy rainfall ahead of and associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Helene will bring an additional chance of significant flooding. Two inches expected from Athens north through Knoxville north to Kingsport and Greeneville. Four inches or more expected from Chattanooga to Cleveland to Murphy. TURN AROUND DONT DROWN.
