Showers and thunderstorms are likely this afternoon into the evening, with a low chance for storms this morning. Other than lightning, gusty winds and small hail may occur, along with the risk for flooding in vulnerable low-lying areas that have already seen heavy rainfall (mainly locations south of Interstate 40). Much less shower activity is expected on Saturday, with likely dry weather on Sunday.
A moist and unsettled pattern continues through tomorrow
morning, with chances for showers and thunderstorms at times. Dry
weather is Saturday afternoon through early next week before rain
chances return in earnest by mid week timeframe.
