Major Hurricane Michael was the 13th named storm of the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season. So far, there have been 15 named storms during the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season - 7 tropical storms and 8 hurricanes. Two of those eight hurricanes strengthened into a major hurricane: Florence and Michael.
Michael was the strongest hurricane on record to make landfall in the Florida panhandle with maximum sustained wind of 160 mph and a minimum pressure of 919 mb.

OKALOOSA 0 0
SUSTAINED MINIMAL TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS WERE OBSERVED IN
COASTAL OKALOOSA COUNTY WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH. FURTHER INLAND,
TROPICAL STORM FORCE GUSTS WERE REPORTED. THE WINDS RESULTED IN THE
DOWNING OF SOME TREES AND POWER-LINES. 10 TO 15 FOOT SURF CAUSED
SIGNIFICANT BEACH EROSION. MINOR COASTAL FLOODING WAS REPORTED WITH
SEVERAL PIERS DAMAGED AND DESTROYED ON CHOCTAWHATCHEE BAY.
SANTA ROSA
HIGHWAY 399 BETWEEN PENSACOLA BEACH AND NAVARRE WAS CLOSED DUE TO
FLOODING FROM HIGH SURF.
