Hurricane Local Statement - If a tropical storm/hurricane watch/warning is effect for any portion of mainland South Florida, this product will contain a summary of latest watch/warnings in effect, storm information, a situation overview highlighting the main concerns for South Florida, potential impact information, and preparedness information.

If a Tropical Storm Watch/Warning or Hurricane Watch/Warning is in effect for your county zone, the detailed meteorological information will be found in the proper link below. Simply click on your county zone and look for the watch/warning headline in the page the link will take you too. In that section, you will find the latest information for your area relative to the four main tropical cyclone hazards: Wind, Storm Surge, Flooding Rains, and Tornadoes. You will be able to find information on the meteorological forecast parameters including what and when type information, threat level (factoring safety margin and therefore what you should plan for), and corresponding potential impact information (what you should be preparing for) relative to each of those hazards.
