Mostly dry weather is forecast today over east central Florida with isolated showers (20%) forecast over the offshore (20-60nm) local Atlantic waters into this evening. Below normal temperatures (~5-10+ degrees) are forecast today with highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s forecast. Mostly sunny skies are forecast inland with partly cloudy to partly sunny skies forecast into the afternoon near the coast. Light north-northwest winds are forecast to increase into the afternoon at 5-10mph with gusts to 15mph.
A Moderate Risk for rip currents exists at the east central Florida beaches. Remember to always swim near a lifeguard and never enter the ocean alone. A Small craft Advisory is in effect until 4pm for the offshore (20-60nm) local Atlantic waters for seas up to 5-7ft.
