A HIGH risk for numerous, strong, life-threatening rip currents continues today as rough surf continues to impact the beaches of east central Florida. Hazardous boating conditions will persist over the Atlantic.

Isolated to scattered showers (PoPs ~ 20-40%) are forecast through this evening. Breezy southeast winds with gusts to 20-30mph are expected. 10 PM temperatures in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees are forecast with mostly cloudy skies. Hazardous marine and beach conditions continue. A High Risk of life threatening rip currents exists at the local Atlantic beaches. A High Surf Advisory is in effect for large breaking waves up to 5-7ft in the surf zone. Entering the surf is not advised. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for southeast winds of 15-25kts and seas up to 5-8ft nearshore with up to 6-9ft offshore (20-60nm).
