Click/tap image to enlarge | A broad area of low pressure over the central tropical Atlantic has a high chance for tropical development, and another wave emerging off the west coast of Africa has a low chance for tropical development over the next 7 days. No imminent threats are anticipated from either system to east central Florida. However, it is a good reminder that we are within the peak of hurricane season and to have an emergency plan in place, if needed this season. Always continue to monitor the forecast for updates.
