Hot and humid conditions continue today, and a Heat Advisory has been issued for Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Martin counties. Scattered to numerous afternoon showers and storms could bring some relief from the heat later this afternoon. Chance of rain today ranges from 60-70 percent across the area. Primary storm hazards will be occasional to frequent lightning strikes, locally heavy rainfall, and wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph.
