Heat and Storms are in the forecast to end the last September weekend across east central Florida. Scattered to numerous afternoon storms will move northeast today with higher coverage expected north of a Kissimmee to Titusville line. The heat continues with highs in the lower 90s. A Heat Advisory is in effect for Okeechobee County and the Treasure Coast for maximum heat indices from 108 to 110 degrees. A moderate risk of rip currents is forecast for the Atlantic beaches.
