Click/tap image to enlarge | A cold front will shift southward today and stall across the south. This will result in scattered showers and lightning storms Today and Wednesday. Some storms may be strong. Stronger storms will be capable of producing frequent lightning, gusty winds, locally heavy rainfall, and small hail. Winds will become N/NE and increase to 10-15 mph by this afternoon causing poor to hazardous beach and boating conditions. High pressure then builds over the area late week with mostly dry conditions and warming temperatures forecast before another cold front swings through Saturday with isolated showers returning.
