Click/tap image to enlarge | Scattered showers and storms will form along the coast by early afternoon before shifting westward across the interior with the sea breeze and increasing in coverage through the afternoon and evening. Greatest coverage focused near to west of I-95 through the I-4 corridor. Storm hazards will be gusty winds of 40-50 mph, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall that may lead to minor localized flooding. Otherwise, expect warm and humid conditions with afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s.

Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall will easily lead to localized totals of 2-4 inches, and up to 5” possible in isolated spots. This may cause minor localized flooding of roadways and poor drainage areas.

A widespread Moderate to Major HeatRisk is expected with the greatest risk along and north of I-4. Remember to practice heat safety!
