Marine Zone Changes
The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City is pleased to announce the creation of 3 new marine forecast/warning zones in Eastern North Carolina. The 3 new marine zones are:
These new marine zones took effect on April 1, 2014 at 2 PM. These new marine zones are being created to better serve the safety and commercial interests of the marine community across Eastern North Carolina.
