Threat of Severe Weather in Eastern NC - Sunday June 5, 2016
The combination of an approaching cold front, a strong mid-level trough, and a very unstable environment due to daytime heating, will lead to a threat of severe thunderstorms across eastern NC late Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. The primary threat will be strong, gusty, damaging winds, hail and a possible isolated tornado. Any outdoor plans on Sunday should be made with the possibility of severe weather in mind. |
