Severe Drought conditions are present for a large portion of northern Indiana Moderate Drought conditions are present from Michiana through northwest Ohio U.S. Drought Monitor D2 (Severe Drought): Many counties in northern Indiana D1 (Moderate Drought): Far southern Michigan, northwest Ohio and northwest Indiana Precipitation 7-day precipitation continues to be below normal for a majority of the area 30-day rainfall is well below normal Summary of Impacts Hydrologic Impacts Pond and creek levels are low. Topsoil is dry.
