Drought conditions are improving Severe Drought conditions are present for a large portion of northern Indiana Moderate Drought conditions are present from Michiana through northwest Ohio U.S. Drought Monitor Drought intensity and Extent D2 (Severe Drought): Many counties in northern Indiana D1 (Moderate Drought): Far southern Michigan, northwest Ohio and northwest Indiana Precipitation The past 10-days (not pictured) has been littered with light precipitation amounts 7-day precipitation continues to be below normal outside of lake effect areas 30-day rainfall is well below normal primarily away from Lake Michigan Summary of Impacts Hydrologic Impacts Pond and creek levels are low.
