Moderate Drought conditions are present over southern Michigan and much of northern and west-central Indiana Abnormally dry conditions are present over remaining parts of northwest Ohio and eastern Indiana U.S. Drought Monitor Drought intensity and Extent D1 (Moderate Drought): Southern Michigan and a large portion of northern Indiana D0 (Abnormally Dry): Northwest Ohio and remaining portions of eastern Indiana Precipitation Earlier this week, widespread precipitation totals of 1-2 inches occurred across northwest IN and far northern IN. The drought monitor does not reflect this precipitation. While 7-day precipitation is above-normal, 30-day rainfall is near to below normal.
