Marine, Tropical and Tsunami Services Branch
National Program
Two times per year, typically in March and September, the NWS makes important marine forecast and warning zone changes (if necessary). In March of 2025, there will be changes in the marine zones for WFO San Diego, CA and WFO Tallahassee, FL. These changes will result in a more geographically precise forecast, improved watch and warning products for the general public and marine users and will enhance web-based graphical product consistency and appearance.
For more information about the changes occurring in WFO San Diego's marine area of responsibility, check out the Service Change Notice.
For more information about the changes occurring in WFO Tallahassee's marine area of responsibility, check out the Service Change Notice.
