This is a 45th anniversary look back at Hurricane Agnes, the greatest flood to ever devastate the Mid-Atlantic in both coverage and magnitude. Originally posted for the 40th anniversary back in 2012, the images and story remain the same. This very first image has an error in it. The date shown as "June 12, 2012" should actually be "June 12, 1972".
