The morning thunderstorm complex moved southeast from the far southwest Texas Panhandle through the southeast Rolling Plains. In addition to wind damage in Floydada, the storms also brought street flooding to Floydada and Plainview, and large hail at Dickens and Aspermont (see the damage reports at the bottom of this page). The following image shows the path of radar-estimated hail size and is a good indicator of the stronger portions of the storm. This reveals the storm track across the area (click on the image to view a larger version).
