A STRONG UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM IS FINALLY MOVING OUT OF THE SOUTH PLAINS REGION BUT WAS STILL CAUSING SOME RAIN ACROSS THE EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE AND PORTIONS OF THE LOW ROLLING PLAINS. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL OCCURRED LAST NIGHT WITH LOCATIONS NEAR THE CAPROCK RECEIVING ANYWHERE FROM A TRACE TO 3 INCHES. STORM TOTALS FOR LOCATIONS ON THE CAPROCK VARIED GREATLY. LOCATIONS UNDER THE CONVECTIVE BANDS RECEIVED ANYWHERE FROM 10 TO 15 INCHES. ELSEWHERE 3 TO 10 INCHES WAS REPORTED. AT LUBBOCK THIS IS THE 5TH TIME SINCE 1911 THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED SNOWFALL GREATER THAN 4 INCHES THIS EARLY IN THE YEAR.
