Chilly temperatures are in store once again tonight beneath a crystal clear sky. Winds will gradually swing around to the southwest as well while remaining light at 5-10 mph.

Mostly Sunny skies and warmer temperatures under breezy southwest winds around 10 to 15 mph.

Pleasant weather this weekend with dry, warm and slightly breezy conditions. Temperatures will be well above normal in the 70s and approaching 80 degrees across some areas off the Caprock on Sunday.

A cold front Monday will bring cooler seasonable temperatures early next week ahead of another cold front later in the week that will bring additional cold air and below normal temperatures.

Local Weather History For November 22nd...

2007: The Thanksgiving Holiday weekend began with a potent upper storm system stalled over far western Texas and northern
Mexico. With sufficiently cold air in place over the Southern Plains, three rounds of accumulating snowfall blanketed the
region on the 22nd, 24th and 25th before the storm finally lifted east late in the weekend. The first round of snow began
over the southwestern South Plains during the morning hours of the 22nd. This activity spread eastward over the
south-central South Plains by midday, and eastward over the southern Rolling Plains of West Texas by early afternoon.
Accumulations generally ranged from only a dusting to up to 4 inches. The storms impact on holiday travel was relatively
minor
