Touched down 3 miles NE of Climax Springs in Camden County and moved NE through Morgan, Miller, Moniteau and Cole Counties before dissipating in Callaway County.  It crossed the Missouri River 4 miles NW of Jefferson City.    One person was killed in Callaway County and several people injured as the tornado reintensified SE of New Bloomfield.  The tornado killed a total of 14 and injured 90 along its entire track.

Formed over NW Cole County and moved NE through Boone County before dissipating over Callaway County.  Its track was parallel and just north of the tornado listed above.  It passed about 3 miles W of New Bloomfield, and through the Guthrie and Carrington areas.  Two deaths and at least eight injuries were reported along this part of the path.  The tornado apparently lifted and dissipated a short distance beyond Carrington.

A complex combination of tornadoes and downbursts formed over Boone County and moved NE into Callaway County passing 2 miles NW of Millersburg.  It dissipated SW of Benton in Audrain County.  Three homes, 5 barns, and a school were damaged or destroyed along the path.

Developed over Cole County and moved NE passing through Boone County before entering Callaway County..  The tornado swept away large homes and killed people 4 miles W of New Bloomfield.  West of New Bloomfield, the "sturdy" home of a "well-to-do farmer" was blown away, pulling over a concrete basement wall.  The 16 foot by 6 foot section crushed to death two members of the family and a guest.  One person died at the edge of Carrington, one person died in a frail home 2 miles S of McCredie.  The tornado moved into Audrain County before dissipating.  This tornado killed a total of 6 people, injured 30, and caused a total of $170,000 in property damage.

Formed over Boone County and moved NE, passing through the far northwestern part of Callaway County  before dissipating near Mexico in Audrain County.  An elderly man was killed in the destruction of his home near the tri-county border.  The tornado killed a total of 1, injured 18, and caused $120,000 in property damage.

Witnesses described a "box shaped" cloud with straight sides and a level bottom, with a "top shaped" funnel cloud.  Evidence of a sharp pressure drop as a funnel passed close to a barn, with part of the roof lifted from the supporting wall.  Debris scattered for 0.5 mile.

The second tornado from the Heavy Precipitation Supercell that moved across the NWS St. Louis County Warning Area formed just west of Fulton near Route F. Shortly after forming, the tornado destroyed a mobile home killing a man inside and injuring his wife and son. The tornado moved NNE snapping off trees, destroying outbuildings and overturning an unoccupied school bus. The tornado then turned more to the east and crossed Highway 54. A nearby warehouse complex received roof damage and several empty truck trailers were pushed over.

The first indication of tornado damage was in extreme southern Callaway County southwest of Tebbetts. A mobile home was flipped onto its side on County Road 4010 about 11:30 pm CST. The tornado tracked northeast across the flood plain and then crossed the Missouri River into into Osage County.

The tornado that formed in Callaway County at about 11:30 pm CST in southern Callaway County, then moved into Osage County, crossed the Missouri river again into southeast Callaway County. The tornado continued for about a half mile causing tree damage.

Numerous trees were also either snapped off or uprooted in this area.The tornado then moved into Montgomery County.

A tornado initially formed at approximately 12:30 am CST along County Road 337 about 2 miles northeast of Guthrie. Light tree damaged occurred in this area. The tornado traveled northeast and moderately damaged a home just north of County Road 328 approximately 1.5 miles west of US Highway 54. The home was moved approximately 25 feet off the foundation. Extensive tree damage occurred to the southwest and northeast of this location. Two people were injured at this location and were hospitalized for several days. Another home just to the east suffered roof damage. The damage width in this area was about 100 yards wide and was rated as F2 intensity. The tornado damaged a barn along US Highway 54 approximately 2 miles southwest of Fulton. Debris from the barn was thrown into the highway median. The track continued to the northeast and damaged trees along Highway NN, and damaged outbuildings along Highway C approximately 1.5 miles south of Fulton. The damage in this area was rated as F0 intensity. The tornado track continued northeast crossing Highways O and UU causing tree damage. The tornado dissipated approximately 3 miles east of Fulton along highway JJ. The damage in this area was rated as F0 intensity. The complete tornado track was approximately 13 miles long.

A small tornado formed just north of Shamrock on the west side of Highway B. At this location one home sustained minor roof damage. The tornado moved southeast crossing Highway B and damaged two machine sheds and downed several large trees. Further southeast a barn was completely destroyed. A man observed the tornado from a tractor while the tornado was in this area. The last damage noted was several large trees downed near County Road 1037.

A tornado touched down and damaged a horse stable, double wide mobile home, trees and a large garage near CR 264. It briefly travelled to the northeast damaging additional trees before lifting and dissipating.Elevated convection developed north of a warm frontal boundary that extended from just southwest of Kansas City to just south of Columbia then into southern Illinois near Sparta. Numerous reports of wind damage were received as well as 4 tornadoes.

The tornado initially touched down a quarter of a mile north of Stephens on County Road 269. As it travelled to the south through Stephens, two homes and three mobile homes sustained roof and window damage. At the same time, hail up to ping pong size fell causing additional roof damage. Three vehicles were damaged by fallen trees and the large hail. A medium sized camper was tossed by the tornado and landed a quarter of a mile north of Stephens. The tornado continued travelling south along County Road 269 and damaged three additional mobile homes and three machine sheds. Sheet metal roofing from the machine sheds was partially uplifted and a number of windows were broken by the hail. A large barn was totally destroyed by the tornado with the debris field extending over 150 yards to the southeast. The tornado dissipated approximately half a mile north of Interstate 70.A large mesoscale complex developed over the region producing severe weather and very heavy rain on already saturated soils.

A tornado traveled from 3 miles west southwest of Mokane to 3 miles west northwest of Mokane, touching down one mile north of Highway 94 on Highway PP. Several large tree branches were blown down in this location. A small utility building was damaged on a farmstead along Highway PP. The tornado continued to move to the north northeast for about eight tenths of a mile before lifting and dissipating. It was rated EF0 with a max damage width of 40 yards.

A tornado touched down on the western and northern sides of South Callaway High School and Elementary School 2 miles west northwest of Mokane. The tornado initially hit the west side of the football stadium damaging the stands. The tornado then moved north northeastward and caused minor damage to the northern part of the roof of the elementary school. Additional damage occurred on the western side of the softball field in which the two dugouts were destroyed and the fence surrounding the baseball field was damaged. A number of trees were uprooted west of the baseball field. The tornado was travelling uphill and crossed Highway C approximately one and a half miles northwest of Mokane. Additional minor tree damage was found off of Highway VV approximately 3.5 miles north of Mokane before lifting and dissipating. The tornado had a max width of 40 yards, a path length of 3.7 miles and was rated EF0.
