Tuesday through Friday the region will see an extended period of rain chances, with two distinct storm systems, that will bring light to moderate stratiform rain. For Tuesday and Wednesday, overall rain totals will be 0.75 to 2 inches (2-4 inches for the mountains, especially the Santa Lucias). Los Angeles County is likely to see up to around 1 inch. Thursday and Friday, around 0.5 to 1 inches are likely, with a chance for up to 2 inches for south facing slopes south of Point Conception. Snow levels will be very high at 6500-8000+ feet.
For Tuesday through Wednesday, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties, are likely to see 0.75 to 2 inches of rain (2-4 inches for the mountains, especially the Santa Lucias). Los Angeles County is likely to see lower totals, up to around 1 inch.
