JEFFERSON PARISH IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA * UNTIL 530 PM CDT * AT 1126 AM CDT...FLASH FLOODING WAS RAPIDLY BECOMING MORE WIDESPREAD OVER JEFFERSON PARISH AS DANGEROUS HURRICANE KATRINA MOVES NORTHEAST OF THE AREA. THIS IS A VERY LIFE THREATENING SITUATION. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
