Weather Forecast Office
DataStreme is a three (3) graduate credit mentored correspondence course offered through SUNY Brockport to K-12 teachers. The best part is that it is FREE, thanks to the American Meteorological Society and the National Science Foundation. You don't even have to pay for books! For more information, e-mail Dave Radell.
The National Weather Service, FEMA and the American Red Cross have prepared numerous publications that can be utilized in the classroom. The following link provides on-line access to many of these publications:
Tours of your National Weather Service Forecast Office are again available to Groups and Organizations. The size of tours are limited to a maximum of 20 people and at least one month's advance notice is required. If you're interested in arranging a visit, please contact Nelson Vaz at (631) 924-0593 x 223.
