A public official observed a brief tornado crossing Highway 17 in the Hightogy area. No damage was found. The tornado was estimated at 10 yards wide and on the ground for less than one tenth of a mile. The tornado has been rated an EF-0 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale. Winds were estimated at 50-60 mph.
