Flash Flooding Risk Continues in Texas; Wildfire Smoke Impacts in the East

Widespread, life-threatening considerable flash flooding is expected in south-central Texas through at least Friday. Catastrophic river flooding and rapid rises on small streams, arroyos, and typically dry washes are expected in the Texas Hill Country. Survey Summary:
The weak tornado is believed to have begun in a field south of US
35, between Eaton and West Alexandria, Ohio. The tornado caused 
minor damage to a barn and house along US 35, before continuing 
into a field to the northeast. Additional minor damage was 
observed on Woodside Drive and Quinn Road, with damage to trees 
and lawn furniture. The winds are estimated to be much weaker 
toward the end of the path. 

The path length may get extended south of US 35 if additional 
information warrants. The National Weather Service would like to 
thank Preble County, Ohio Emergency Management Agency for their 
coordination and assistance with this survey.
