Severe Storms, High Winds, and Tornadoes A strong low pressure system moved through the Ohio Valley on Monday, February 27th. Several clusters of thunderstorms, including some supercells, developed within the narrow warm sector, and tracked through Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio from the morning into the afternoon. Numerous reports of wind damage, both associated with storms and not directly associated with storms, as well as large hail, were received. Several tornadoes were also confirmed from the storm activity.
