High Wind Event

Strong/deepening low pressure across the Great Lakes region allowed for an unusually tight pressure gradient to develop across much of the Ohio Valley. Higher winds from aloft were able to translate down to the ground, with widespread gusts in excess of 50 MPH. The top officially measured gust in the local area was 64 MPH at Ohio State University Airport (KOSU).
