Atmospheric River in the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies this Weekend

A Pacific storm and atmospheric river will impact the Pacific Northwest states and northern Rockies this weekend, bringing locally heavy low elevations rain and heavy high elevation snow in the mountains. Snow overspread the region Friday Night, December 13th into Saturday Morning, December 14th. As warmer air moved in with the low, the snow began to mix with and change to rain through the day. Most significant snow accumulations were northwest of Interstate 71.
