THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON OH HAS CONFIRMED A
TORNADO EAST OF DRY RIDGE IN GRANT COUNTY KENTUCKY...CROSSING INTO
PENDLETON COUNTY KENTUCKY AND ENDING EAST OF KNOXVILLE ON APRIL
23, 2011.

SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO A WELL CONSTRUCTED BARN OCCURRED ON
GREENVILLE ROAD ALONG WITH NUMEROUS TREES BLOWN DOWN. THE TORNADO
TRACKED EASTWARD AND CONTINUED TO FELL TREES. THE NEXT NOTABLE
DAMAGE OCCURRED A MILE EAST OF KNOXVILLE ON ROUTE 467 WHERE MORE
TREES WERE UPROOTED. DAMAGE CONTINUED TO BE SPORADICALLY FOUND
ALONG THE ROUTE UNTIL AFTER IT HAD CROSSED THE INTERSECTION OF 467
AND FOGLE ROAD.
