BASED ON ADDITIONAL INFORMATION GATHERED FROM STORM SPOTTERS IN THE
AREA AND DAMAGE SURVEYS COMPLETED ON OCTOBER 26TH AND OCTOBER
27TH...THE ORIGINAL TORNADO TRACK HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO INCLUDE THE
EXTREME WESTERN EDGE OF WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE. DAMAGE IN THIS
EXTENDED AREA INCLUDED HEAVY ROOF DAMAGE TO TWO BUSINESSES ON THE
WEST SIDE OF WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE...AS WELL AS TREE DAMAGE. RADAR
INFORMATION CORROBORATES A STRONG CIRCULATION COINCIDENT WITH THIS
DAMAGE TRACK.  THE TORNADO ORIGINALLY LISTED AS 6SW OF WASHINGTON
COURT HOUSE LIKELY LIFTED INTERMITTENTLY ALONG THE PATH INTO THE
WESTERN EDGE OF WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE...A TOTAL TRACK LENGTH NOW OF
BETWEEN 4 AND 5 MILES. THE ORIGINAL DAMAGE SURVEY INFORMATION
CONTINUES BELOW.

DAMAGE EXTENDED FROM JUST NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF SNOW HILL
ROAD AND MIAMI TRACE ROAD TO JUST NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF
SNOW HILL ROAD AND STAUNTON JASPER ROAD IN SOUTHWEST FAYETTE
COUNTY. SEVERAL TREES IN THIS AREA WERE SNAPPED...AND SEVERAL
STRUCTURES LOST PARTS OR ALL OF THEIR ROOFS. THE HEAVIEST DAMAGE
OCCURRED TO A LARGE STORAGE FACILITY WHICH SUFFERED MAJOR ROOF
LOSS AND TOTAL COLLAPSE OF THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE STRUCTURE.
THIS IS CONSISTENT WITH HIGH-END EF0 DAMAGE...WITH WINDS UP TO 85
MPH.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON OH HAS CONFIRMED A
TORNADO THAT TRACKED FROM NEAR 3 MILES SOUTH OF SABINA TO 3 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF SABINA OHIO...OR 9 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WASHINGTON COURT
HOUSE OHIO ON OCTOBER 26 2010. THIS TRACK COVERS LOCATIONS IN
EASTERN CLINTON AND FAR WESTERN FAYETTE COUNTIES IN OHIO. THE
DOPPLER RADAR AT THE WILMINGTON NWS ALSO INDICATED ROTATION ALOFT
IN THE STORM THAT TRAVELED ALONG THE SAME CORRIDOR.

THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN JUST WEST OF STATE ROUTE 72 ABOUT 1 MILE
NORTHWEST OF THE INTERSECTION WITH STATE ROUTE 729. THE CIRCULATION
WAS OBSERVED ON THE GROUND FROM TWO SEPARATE RESIDENCES NEAR THAT
LOCATION. FOUR UTILITY POLES WERE OBSERVED TO BE BROKEN AND
BRIEFLY SUSPENDED IN THE CIRCULATION FROM ONE OF THE RESIDENCES.
AN OCCUPANT OF THE OTHER RESIDENCE OBSERVED DEBRIS CIRCULATING
IMMEDIATELY EAST OF STATE ROUTE 72. THE CIRCULATION IMMEDIATELY
EAST OF STATE ROUTE 72 PULLED A LARGE METAL DOOR FROM A BARN AND
DESTROYED A PORTION OF THE METAL ROOF. FRAGMENTS OF THE ROOF WERE
CARRIED FOR APPROXIMATELY 1/4 MILE TO THE NORTHEAST. FIELD DEBRIS
WAS ALSO FOUND WEDGED BETWEEN THE WALL BOARDS OF THIS BARN. OTHER
DAMAGE WAS OBSERVED JUST OUTSIDE OF THE PRIMARY PATH DUE TO
STRAIGHT LINE WINDS FROM THE ASSOCIATED SQUALL LINE... INCLUDING A
COLLAPSED LIVESTOCK BARN JUST SOUTH OF THE PATH AND ANOTHER
HEAVILY DAMAGED HOG BARN NORTH OF THE TRACK.

THE TORNADO CONTINUED NORTHEAST AND NEXT CROSSED HORNBEAM RD
APPROXIMATELY 3/4 MILE NORTHWEST OF THE INTERSECTION WITH STATE ROUTE
729. DAMAGE ON THE EAST SIDE OF HORNBEAM RD INCLUDED AN
APPROXIMATELY 10000 POUND HORSE TRAILER PICKED UP AND CARRIED ABOUT
100 FEET. NUMEROUS TREES WERE ALSO SNAPPED OFF AT HEIGHTS OF 3-15
FEET ABOVE THE GROUND ON THIS SAME PROPERTY...AS WELL AS
IMMEDIATELY TO THE WEST ACROSS HORNBEAM RD.

THE TORNADO THEN TRAVELED NORTHEAST ACROSS OPEN...HARVESTED FIELD
UNTIL ARRIVING AT GREENFIELD-SABINA RD APPROXIMATELY 3/4 MILE
NORTHWEST OF THE INTERSECTION WITH SNOW HILL RD. DAMAGE ON THE
EAST SIDE OF THE ROAD INCLUDED METAL ROOF AND WALL DAMAGE TO THE
SOUTHWEST SIDE OF A 320X80 FOOT LIVESTOCK BARN. THE DEBRIS FROM
THIS BARN WAS PULLED EAST-SOUTHEAST TOWARD THE CENTER LINE OF THE
PATH FOR AT LEAST 150 YARDS. THERE WAS ALSO ROOF AND SIDING DAMAGE
TO TWO RESIDENCES NEARBY...AND THIS DEBRIS WAS STREWN TO THE
NORTHEAST FOR AT LEAST 200 YARDS. A BROKEN TREE APPROXIMATELY 20
FEET IN LENGTH WAS FOUND IN THE OPEN FIELD JUST SOUTH OF THIS
POINT IN THE TRACK...AND THE LOCAL RESIDENTS DID NOT KNOW ITS
ORIGIN. THE CONCENTRATED DAMAGE PATH APPEARED TO END JUST PAST
THIS LOCATION IN FAR WESTERN FAYETTE COUNTY.

THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:

EF0...WIND SPEEDS 65 TO 85 MPH.
EF1...WIND SPEEDS 86 TO 110 MPH.
EF2...WIND SPEEDS 111 TO 135 MPH.
EF3...WIND SPEEDS 136 TO 165 MPH.
EF4...WIND SPEEDS 166 TO 200 MPH.
EF5...WIND SPEEDS GREATER THAN 200 MPH.
