TORNADO NEAR COLUMBUS IN FRANKLIN COUNTY OHIO ON SEPTEMBER 22 2010.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS OBTAINED VIDEO
FOOTAGE TAKEN FROM AN COLUMBUS METRO TRAFFIC CAMERA AT THE
INTERSECTION OF INTERSTATE 270 AND BROAD STREET...OF A VERY BRIEF
TORNADO TOUCHDOWN JUST NORTH OF THIS LOCATION ALONG I-270 JUST
BEFORE 5 PM ON SEPTEMBER 22ND. THE TORNADO LASTED LESS THAN A
MINUTE.

NO REPORTS OF DAMAGE WERE RECEIVED IN THIS IMMEDIATE AREA...BUT
VIDEO FOOTAGE SHOWS A BRIEF TORNADIC CIRCULATION IN CONTACT WITH
THE GROUND. WINDS IN THIS TORNADO ARE ESTIMATED TO BE ON THE ORDER
OF 65 MPH...AT THE VERY LOW END OF ENHANCED FUJITA SCALE.
