Radar Images
TCVG 0.1° Z - 9:23 PM TCVG 0.1° SRM - 9:23 PM
These radar images show a small but intense cell along the Ohio River near Maysville and Aberdeen. The SRM depicts a divergent pattern commonly associated with a downburst, with inbound winds around 40 knots and outbound winds around 20 knots. While these values are not extreme, it is noteworthy that they were sampled at 2000 feet above ground level, which likely implies that even stronger divergent winds were occurring near the surface.
