...EF0 TORNADO CONFIRMED IN SOUTHERN CLINTON COUNTY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS DETERMINED THAT 
DAMAGE NEAR MARTINSVILLE IN SOUTHERN CLINTON COUNTY WAS CAUSED BY A 
WEAK BRIEF TORNADO ON EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...JUNE 4 BETWEEN 1225 
AM AND 1230 AM. A BARN AND A SHED SUSTAINED DAMAGE AT A RESIDENCE 
ALONG JONESBORO ROAD JUST SOUTHWEST OF MARTINSVILLE. TWO TREES AND 
NUMEROUS LARGE LIMBS AND BRANCHES WERE DOWNED IN THE AREA. THIS 
TORNADO HAS BEEN RATED AN EF0 ON THE ENHANCED FUJITA SCALE...WITH 
WIND SPEEDS ESTIMATED AT 65 MPH.
